Connect an AI assistant

This app has a built-in connector (an MCP server) that lets an AI assistant — ChatGPT, Claude, or Claude Code — work with your inspections, jobs, manuals, and parts data. Paste the address below into your assistant, and it will discover what it can do.

Connect

ChatGPT
  1. 1.Open ChatGPT's Apps settings and enable Developer mode (follow the risk notice shown there). If Developer mode is unavailable, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 2.Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. 3.Name the app "InspectView (AirCheck)" and paste the connection address above into the URL field.
  4. 4.Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom connector), then click Create.
  5. 5.Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.
Claude
  1. 1.Open this link to add the connector in Claude — it opens with the name and address filled in.
  2. 2.Review the details and click Add.
  3. 3.If the form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose "Add custom connector", name it "InspectView (AirCheck)", and paste the connection address above.
  4. 4.Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.
Claude Code
  1. 1.Run this one-line command in a terminal — it's the whole install:

  1. 1.Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm the app is connected. It asks you to sign in from that menu only if the app protects its tools.
  2. 2.Ask Claude Code to use the app.
Other MCP clients
  1. 1.Open your client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2.Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. 3.Name it "InspectView (AirCheck)" and paste the connection address above.
  4. 4.Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. 5.Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant remembers the tool list from when you added it. When this app ships changes, refresh the connection so your assistant picks up the latest tools.

ChatGPT
  1. 1.Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select this app.
  2. 2.Scroll to "Information" and click Refresh.
  3. 3.ChatGPT can't update an existing app's address — if it changed, delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above with the latest address.
  4. 4.Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.
Claude
  1. 1.Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. 2.Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. 3.Claude can't update an existing connector's address — if it changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above with the latest address.
  4. 4.Ask Claude to use the app.
Claude Code
  1. 1.Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the app's latest tools when it connects.
  2. 2.If the address changed, run claude mcp remove aircheck, then run the install command again with the latest address.
  3. 3.Ask Claude Code to use the app.
Other MCP clients
  1. 1.Open the client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. 2.Select the connection you created for this app.
  3. 3.Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. 4.If the address changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. 5.Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use the app.
