AirCheck (also published as InspectView Field) is a work tool for aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul shops. It is used by staff of a shop that holds an AirCheck account. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how it is protected.
Who controls your data
The maintenance shop that invited you owns the inspection records you create. InspectView operates the service on that shop's behalf and does not sell data or use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account details — name, work email, role and the shop you belong to, used to sign you in and to show only your shop's records.
- Work records you create — inspection findings, notes, part references, work order links, clock-in and clock-out times, and approvals.
- Photos and videos — images and borescope footage you capture or upload for an inspection, together with the job they belong to.
- Documents — manuals and reference files uploaded by your shop for search and citation.
- Technical logs — basic device and error information needed to keep the app working and secure.
Camera, photos and storage permissions
The camera is used only when you choose to capture a photo or video for an inspection. Photo library access is used only when you pick an existing file to attach. Local device storage is used to hold your work while you are offline. The app does not access contacts, messages or location, and it does not run the camera in the background.
Working offline
When you turn on offline mode or lose signal, clock-ins, findings, notes and photos are saved on your phone and marked as held. They are sent to your shop's workspace as soon as a connection returns, then removed from the local hold queue. Cached manuals and job data are stored on the device so you can keep working without a network.
How we use the data
To run inspections, build reports and quotes, track labour against jobs, search manuals, and give your shop an auditable record of who did what and when. AI assistance is used to help find parts and manual references; its output is advisory and is always reviewed by a person before it is signed off.
Sharing
Data is shared only with your own shop's users according to their role, with customers your shop explicitly sends a report or quote to, and with the infrastructure providers that host the service (cloud database, storage, email delivery and AI processing). We do not sell personal data.
Security
Access requires a signed-in account. Records are separated per shop at the database level, so one shop can never read another shop's data. Traffic is encrypted in transit and files are stored in access-controlled storage.
Keeping and deleting data
Inspection records are kept for as long as your shop needs them for maintenance traceability. You can ask your shop administrator to remove your account, or contact us at Jruiz@jtechturbines.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Uninstalling the app clears any work still held on the device, so sync before you remove it.
Children
The app is a workplace tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify account administrators.
