Borescope inspection report template

A free, blank borescope inspection (BSI) report template for aircraft engines, as a fillable PDF you can download and adapt. It follows the structure operators and lessors expect: engine identity, references, a status for each module, findings by stage, and sign-off.

What's in it

  • Page 1: report header, reason for inspection, references, equipment, and a status for each module.
  • Pages 2 to 4: two finding blocks per page, each with location, damage type, measurement, image numbers, manual task and limit reference, and disposition.
  • Last page: recommendations, repeat-inspection interval and inspector sign-off.

How to use it

  1. Fill in the header and references before you start.
  2. Record findings stage by stage, numbering images to match.
  3. Set one disposition per module: serviceable, reduced interval or unserviceable.
  4. Sign, then keep a flattened copy as the record. Most PDF viewers do this with "Print to PDF".

The template doesn't replace your approved procedures or any format your manual or customer requires. Adapt it to them.
